Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance is a
nonprofit organization that serves as both the accrediting body for aftercare
facilities that care for Thoroughbreds following the conclusion of their racing
careers and a fundraising body providing funds to help with the care of the
Thoroughbreds at these approved facilities. During 2014 a thorough review of our application and
supporting documents, followed by a ranch
inspection by a TAA inspector, Harmony and Hope Horse Haven received
accreditation from Thoroughbred Aftercare
Alliance.
Harmony
and Hope is one of 42 organizations approved during the 2014 application
process. We are very proud of this accomplishment. To maintain accreditation
Thoroughbred aftercare facilities receive random inspections throughout the year
and provide quarterly reports, and must re-apply each year.
